slow loading

anyone got any ideas whats going wrong here.
when i'm loading a mp map its taking alot longer than usual.
on the loading screen where the bullets enter the clip, it hangs on 4 bullets for about 20 seconds then starts again.
then occiasionaly once i'm in the game it gets a bit jerky as if i'm getting a bit of lag.

cant work out why cos its been fine then all of a sudden its like this :( :unsure: :blink:

I have it for ages, the best key: patience ( or set ur texture details lower )

Frank ... you're talking shite.

Saint ... try setting com_hunkmegs to at least 50% of your physical memory.

Eg. if you have 512MB memory .. set it to 256

The command is:

seta com_hunkmegs <value>

where <value> is the required number. Like I say, this should be HALF physical memory ... maybe even 60 to 75%.

will give that a go, just looked in sof2mp.cfg and its set to 45 (i have 256mb)
i've set it to 179 for now, will try it thursday when i r back on

im not talking shite, me pc loads lot faster if u put my texturedetails lower, with or without my hunkmegs set to 320
