REAL problem ...

So, i noticed the population of T&T players playing LOMAC is increasing.

So, i try my local asda store, like Tommy (?) did. no luck there. GAME dont sell it, and i haven't seen it elsewhere.

Where did you guys purchase yours from ? was it lockon.co.uk ?
Does it work ? As i noticed anything on ebay was from America, and of NTSC region, not PAL

Dads b*tching about how "its gonna mess my PC up" and stuff, so i need some pretty sraight answers.

well the Game in the Bristol ASDA does sell it for a £5, as that's where i got it from... the Game in your town wont order it for you?? Cos i'm sure they should be able...

I bought the game itself from Amazon.co.uk. £5 I think it was, for the Gold Edition.

I then installed Lock On via the CD.
Then purchased Lock On: Flaming Cliffs update from www.lockon.co.uk
Had some problem downloading it (Site hadn't registered my purchase), so emailed them with my order ID and site username, they sorted it for me.
Downloaded FC.
Rebooted.
Installed FC.
Rebooted.
Installed 1.12b patch.
Ran LockOn.
Used the "Manual Activation" option from the website, with the Serial Number given to me by the site on downloading FC and the Hardware Code given to me by the activation request that the game generates.
Ran LockOn again, bingo.
Spent about 3 hours putting new joystick into a configuration that worked well lol.

I got mine from ebay, but amazon do it, Play.com do it aswell. Mine cost less than a fiver posted :D

Forgot to mention:

When you download the 1.12b patch, make sure you download the ENGLISH version for the WEB DOWNLOAD version of Flaming Cliffs... there's three different versions of the patch available lol.

TBH, when i started PC gaming, if it wouldn't run on all max, uber 1337 settings, i wouldn't play it.

But i've realised theres not much difference between medium/high/UBERhigh.
Besides the frames :p

If he's got a £200 GPU in there that's only letting him play DH05 on High, it means something else in the system is bottlenecking it :p
