...played the LOMAC demo a few months ago, quite liked it but had got IL2 to satisfy my flightsim needs.

Since you guys are playing LOMAC on a fairly regular basis tho I finally decided it was worth getting - bought it today for about a tenner should be arriving early next week.

Now, what's the correct proceedure for installing and patching? I've flicked thro Tommy's thread, and lemme know if this is right?

Install basic game from the CD
Purchase and install Flamin' Hell via download
Patch to latest version via download
Activate/Register Online

Yup Masaq - you're spot on there.

As you've no doubt seen, the FC addon is best downloaded rather than installed from CD (as in Lockon Gold). Then the 1.12b patch for the web download.

And get Hyperlobby too.

I hope your joystick's up to this.

I regards to the joystick... i only have a Logistic Force 3DPro and it works fine. It may not have all the bells a whistles but it does the job just fine.. as far as i can tell. So you dont need a real fancy stick.

Basically chap yes. BUT once you try to activate, go to the lock on webby, manually activate and it will give you an activation, make a note of it.
Then go to the icon on desktop, and it will ask you for the serieal key and activation code.
Put those in and away you go.

Then go get hyperlobby, register and sign up

You are now ready to be shot/rammed/chickened with and have a A10 or F15 cabriolet and die repeatedly because Commando and Epoch regularly race each other up the taxi way.
Ejecting on the runaway is a bad idea whne these two do this as it leaves a wrecked plane in their way :D

Also listen for Exo's running commentary on "Where the fuck are they" followed by myself saying "Where the fuck are you guys and how do i use the nav points"

Oh and autopilot at 150 feet is not advisable.
