Katashland is my nation name .... Your gonna get bombarded with messages asking you to join an alliance - my girlfriend and I set up our own so we would stop getting the damn things - also it helps prevent nations attacking you if they see your in an alliance. Your welcome to join ours if you wish although other ones will offer you money for joining - we dont go in for all that sanctions, treaties senates and crap .. all we do do is back each other up if someone declares war on us, and very rarely will we attack a nation unless given good reason to. anyway if you do fancy joining it's called Ministry Of Defence (Not to be confused with Ministry of Defence ... ours WAS started first!)

I initially asked if anyone was in CN because I needed to send my GF some financial & military aid through a 3rd party (can't do it directly if your on the same IP address - classed as cheating) - Some prick declared war on her to try and steal technology, even tho he was a much stronger nation and has practically crippled her for a few days ... Problem solved tho ... I declared war on him and sent in a few cruise missiles, few thousand troops and some tanks.

Tomorrow I'll probably purchase some satelites to improve my cruise missile effectiveness and some missile defences and I'll hit him again until he gets the message.

and type in Ministry Of Defence (case sensative)

You should see Arctic Highlands (me), Katashland (obvious) and some other people.

It takes up about 3 mins a day maximum, and its just a bit of fun, a multiplayer sim-city .... Alternatively you could spend a few hours a day playing a virtually real combat simulator like PR ... Or just do both.

Happyness affects your tax income, it may be more beneficial to keep your tax rate at say 16% and have happy workers earning more than to tax them heigher and them not earn as much - Keep an eye on your 'Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day' .... Aim to get this as high as you can.
Your 'Population Happiness' can be viewed as a numerical - just click on the box and hold, then drag mouse .... it's there just as hidden text!
DEFCON & Threat Level affect happyness, best to stick to DC5 & Low Threat.
Trade Resources can stack up and give you bonus resources, google 'CNTSC1-0.xls' to find an downloadable excel sheet that calculates what bonuses you'll get.
People will war against you as a 'Tech Raid' for 1 day then offer peace, sometimes it's best to just swallow your pride and accept it than to retalliate and get screwed even worse .... Revenge is a dish best served cold ... Leave it a few months then send a spy in to cause a bit of damage.
Theres way too much to type - the CN forums are a good place for info but if you need help with anthing specific just send a message to Katashland.

Well i cant send assistance till the 13th as im in peace mode. Have 710 troops and 7 tanks sitting around.

Happyness currently at 22, is that good? Got 38k in taxes and 8k went on bills. The rest i poured into infrastructure is that the best way? Pop per mile is around 10 which is low apparently, so should i sell some land or just keep it for when my population increases? Working with 30k spare a day doesn't mean you can do a lot :(

About 3 months ago a new alliance was set up called 'Ministry of Defence' and for about a week the game engine lumped us all into the same alliance and he was one of the members, now it recognises us as seperates and he never bothered switching.

Copy a good chunk of your message - like copy<They desire a government that is based on radical change>copy

Whack it into google but put it in quotation marks like this :-

"They desire a government that is based on radical change"

That way google will treat it as a literal phrase and will search for that exact combination of words in that exact order.

And in that particular situation you'll find you need Revolutionary Government & Taoism.

CN admins have a habit of changing the descriptions of religions / governments to combat people opening webpages listing all of them.

Colemansam is touting for aid, claiming that he's been attacked and needs money to rebuild, he is in our alliance but I have no idea who he is.

Bear in mind that he has just started another war (the second which he has started) with someone for battle practice which kinda goes against the point of ministry of defence.

Basically if we have people going round starting wars for no good reason, it can cause the victims to join rival alliances and we all will get hammered in retalliation then.

Have told him to pack it in and to try and find peace, am willing to help him grown so long as he plays ball.

Celacity has offered him 10K aid but this was before she was aware of his new war.

Have also messaged his victim informing him of the situation and if he (colemansam) doesnt stop attacking this weaker nation we may have to make him stop. I will also compensate his victim for his losses when it's all over.

Unfortunatly there is no provision for booting people from alliances, I have spoke to him and he has admitted he didn't know our policy on starting trouble and has agreed to declare peace with anatomia. He offered to send troops to anatomia to compensate his loss but anatomia has gone inactive now.

He was very apologetic about the whole thing and wants to be an active member within the alliance.

One reason for not booting him is most large alliances consider alliances with less than 10 members to be open game for tech raids - that's why wolfpack attacked Cela, long story but I was up til 3am one night discussing the possability of an alliance war between us because I was attacked after our cease-fire.

Banner how much does 1 lvl tech cost you m8? - It's cheaper for me to send you the cash than to send you the tech as it costs me $32,912.67 Per level.

Best to put the bulk of your money into infastructure first as that has the most direct connection to your population numbers, I wouldnt bother getting too strong a military as you've got us to back you up (Some of the guys are itching for war practice)


We need to come up with a block of text that we can all put in our 'About my nation' field that basically says if you tech raid us we will retalliate

Well I was talking with Banner about this the other day, seeing as we are in an alliance now it's unlikley we will be attacked so most of you will never experience war, My suggestion was inactive nations with equal or greater than 13 days inactivity and unallianced.

Perhaps a vote is needed on the subject.

Buy some land if they are moaning about space. Tried to keep them below 70 people per mile (around 30 is good)

Always have atleast 20% of your population as soldiers.

Any cash you have leftover today after that, poor into infrastructure. Dont worry about tech for now.

It's just the simple act of trade :) there's some things you can get easier/cheaper than us and vice versa so we've gotta work out comprimises where we all benefit.

I'm interested to see more about sanctions and managing resources whilest at war :D
