Firstly I always love being in a squad with you guys.

Jwhat what with all the newbies around nowadays and such I think we need a lil more focus on spreading ourselves out throughout the game. Epoch has totally revamped TS for this purpose (different sides available) so lets start making use of it a lil more :P
I like even more having a squad with a couple of T&T in and other squads lead by T&T members. It boosts game quality so much ,we know sometimes the newbies don't listen but at the end of the day tis our server and we're triyng to show folk how to play a game well.

By having my constant Teampower! Squad I've met and dragged so many people to this site, and I'm sure the rest of you have when youve encountered a good player in a squad.

So lets just scatter out a lil more to increase our chances and educate our regular playerbase.

I've just come off an AWESOME round of Qwai, Loco Kirra being CO, Oddsodz leading a squad, Rico_UK on transport. We had bunkers and firebases going up left right and centre, transport choppers were CONSTANTLY back and forth. Best part was I saw a JDAM being used to full effectiveness to eliminate the enemy at estate. needless to say we won the round with a 232 ticket win.

It all switched on when the regular experianced folk got in the driving seat.

I think I reach my point a while ago...

Well, me & you tend to operate different squads anyway imo!

It is great to have a couple of T&T led squads in game coz it leads to a higher level tacteamism! (new word!)

I havent had as much time as I would like to play since the release of 0.7 but normal service resumed soon!

Personally i hate squad leading and i hate being ina squad with people i don't know. I was squad leader in the army of my section and that made me realise i hated it. People don't use voip, they go off and do their own thing, and generally ignore you to nick choppers, tanks etc.

I have on occasion had a couple of good pub squad mates who do as they are asked and worked well together, but they are few and far between.

And then of course there's my sprogs and wife who like to sleep at night so i can't shout or scream so it's easier for me to be with a clannie who knows i will follow orders and go where they want.

This is how i play and will continue to play until such time my shouting, swearing voice doesn't annoy the wife and kids.

So if i ask you to make a hole, please do as i'm severley restricted from about 8pm onwards.

I like to be lead, rather than lead because I know folks like Commando and Cain can do it well.

I like the idea of [T&T] led squads, using TS to cross-communicate with proper radio terminology to determine when the radio is clear.

If I can be shown how, I'll start to train myself to Squad Lead, and lead "Teampower! 2"

After a lot of umming and aaaahing, I've had an idea.

If we have another squad in addition to Cain's and Viglen's, we could call it "TeamPower3".

Might be out on a limb there. Just a thought......

OOO I like TacTeam :P Teampower's already rather famous but I think the transition could be done.

Glad everyone didnt take offence at the idea :D I do like having 1 fellow clanny (lmao just realised how that word sounds) in my squad to help me lead by leading by example.
Also is useful for me to have someone who knows our style and can take over a small group if the team gets split up

Whilest I'm holding back, checking map and figuring out whether the current engagement is worth fighting etc its good to have someone else who's T&T pushing up front as others tend to follow them instead of staying with me.

Also formations become easier, pubbies can never decide which tags to follow :P

If not that, then '[T&T] Air'

I was thinking [T&T] 1/2/3 too epoch, but when people see clan-named squads, I imagine they assume it's a "private" squad for those clan members only.

Certain folks are gonna be good in squads, others good at leading them, we just gotta try to keep to balance.

Even if you aren't the shephard, imo folk who dont listen to the sound advice of the T&T radio man (putting it lightly USE TS!) and take on board his advice are stupid.

You can convince anyone but a smacktard to complete an objective. It isn't done by whining or complaing when you die but acting useful and contributing to the team and also mastering the art of putting the SL on the spot every now n then with "why did you do that? I told you they weren't there" if he continues acting like a twat or dosn't take heed and learn from advice then warnings can if necassary kicks can always be used as a last resort.

I myself as you all know try my hardest to manipulate people into becomming useful members of a squad when all theyve ever been use to is RUN! SEE! SHOOT! DIE! Quite a few non teamplayers are surprisingly easy to brainwash ;)

"Teampower" would be a unique squadname unique to the server and whenever someone mentions it you automatically would know what they are talking about.

Dragon Echo Fox Niner Niner division three is a little more difficult to remember :P

It'll need to be TACTEAM 1, 2, etc. I may start trying to either squad lead, or command.
