Got a pMSG from Epoch asking if I'd consider throwing my hat into the ring with you guys - replied with an inverse-pacman pie chart (naturally) that said yes. Unfortunately, the size of the pacman section was bigger than the "Yes" section of the chart, so unfortunately I'm not allowed to play PR with you guys; instead I must be locked in a room, fed pills and listen to repetitive music :) (with apologies to Marcus Brigstock for stealing his joke lol.)
So yeah, a wee bit about me:
I'm 22, I'm currently in my third year of a BSc in mental health nursing - also my third year of working for the NHS. I live and work in Hull/East Riding of Yorkshire area, but my family all live in Norfolk. Came up to 'ull in 04 to start a Chemistry course but loathed it (fucking maths), somehow ended upstaying here and examining heads. Love the job, hate the pay and hours!
I've been PC gaming since... god, '96... The first "real" (Win 95) PC game I bought myself was Age of Empires; since then I've mostly been a strategy and sim fan, although the SW Jedi Knight series bought me to the world of FPS. For about 2 years, BF2/PR has pretty much been my "regular" gaming vice, with stuff like Civ4, AoE3, Black and White 2, Battlefront 2 in periods in between. I'm still a huge SW fan (blame my dad for taking me to see Episode 5 at the cinema), and I have to admit that most of my games are from LucasArts lol.
I'm also a hardware freak, pouring a goodly size of my wages each year into my box. *Sigh*.
Anyways, been playing with you guys for long enough that you know me in-game well enough by now I hope ;) - look forward to more cracking rounds with you lot in the near future. Sadly, my deadline for the last of 2007's workload is this coming Tuesday so I won't be around over the weekend but see you in the new year proper. (IF YOU SEE ME - TK ME UNTIL I LEAVE THE SERVER!) :p
