Training Videos

I'm pondering, after seeing a thread on realitymod.com, about making some training vids on squad tactics + formations etc.

I thought it might be a good way to advertise T&T for what we stand for (besides parachuting:P) and perhaps give something that will come in useful for 0.7, as the techniques can be universally applied.

The video will also detail the correct use of kits within a squad. I will probably be filming it during a live game so we can get the best idea of effectiveness.

Soooo anyone interested? Itd be quite disciplined and not many mistakes could be done because I'd like us to have a flawless video demonstrating leapfrogging, support goin into covering fire, defense, offense.

No pie charts... just videos

First what do you guys think?
Second does anyone want to help out? (means no lone wolfing of any sort...)

I'd help out, but i dont like the idea of doing live shooting ...

Maybe if we could rally as many of us T&T'ers as possible, and if needed, some trusty pubbies, or clan members ?

A soldiers eye view would be good.

The sort of things I want to get on film are things like flashbangs being throw over walls and the squad bursting in single file then spreading out across the walls.

Medics reviviing people, support diving out in front to cover the advance, grenadiers holding back lobbing, etc. It can be quite easy to do with a few T&T and some pubbies they tend to follow the crowd.

Some of it is realy stupidly simple stuff such as providing effective cover with all arcs of fire on all positions and getting into an APC fast etc. just hopefully so folk (especially those on our server) will see and follow the idea

good idea. Count me in. It will also be good training for us, maybe giving us the extra leverage we need in 0.7.

Heskey is an awesome support :P depeche medic, hanniz epic rifleman, Banner is another good Rifleman crisis, cameraman :P sounds like weve got one squad :P. with all the Hype 0.7 will bring I think our exposure should be something like this so we dont get stupid newbs wanting shiney things, later we can release more explosive videos for more experianced folk...

Commando do you fancy leading another squad? we can maybe capture some epic teamwork moments on battle rec :D

0.7 is releaseed tomorrow I say we do these vids on a locked server then (its posssible we wont need to lock it maybe folk wont be as quick on the draw as us)
