Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!
You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eves of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe; and security for ourselves in a free world.
Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely.
But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!
I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!

Yes, I would very much like to join your great community. Having played with some of you guys on your server over the past weeks I feel secure that we have many common interests like teamwork, tactics, realism and at last, but not least, a sense of humour.
Im still involved in a gamingsociety called "old gents society - mature online gaming" from Sweden. (the =[OG]= tag) I have enjoyed this memberhip a lot, but unfortunately many members have fallen under the curse of various MMORPG, like WOW (world of wankers) and some other rubbish I either didnt like or didnt understand. There is often a link betwen my "liking" of stuff and my understanding of them. Btw, I have a WOW DVD for sale if someone are interested. So I have tried, believe me.
It was just not my cup of tea..
Enough ranting about that.
I simply prefers good first person shooters, hardcore realism military sims or just building empires to rule the world.
About me: am 33 years old, married, have 2 kids, a volvo station wagon, a way to big loan on my house, and I enjoy walks in the park and a romantic dinner for two. Pretty basic I guess. Hope I dont dissapoint to many when I say that I am not into goats. On the other hand Im willing to learn and I guess my sexlife will be stagnating anytime soon anyway.
Im hoping that in your community I will get more organized team play, good leadership and a lot of fun! And I can't deny it.. the ability to kick smacktards from the server.....:D
I have military training and would love to try to introduce real life tactics to the gameplay without the risk of getting shot in IRL. I find it best that way.
The weak spot here is that it will require an enemy with a fear of dying, something that is really lacking on most servers.
On the other hand. If I was afraid of dying when playing on my computer I would really considered quitting and taking a walk instead..
