carlsberg export ruined my night!! not in a good way either...

Had some problems last night with my PC shutting down thereby ruining my beloved friday gaming night!

Don't know if anyone remembered when I first came on TS last night - I went 'oh F*ck, I have spilt some beer on my PC'!

Took it a few hours but the beer managed to screw up my power button which on my case is located on the top with the usb ports.

The computer was therefore doing exactly what the power button was telling it to-shutdown!

Couple of problems with this:


The spilling of lager happened at the beginning of the night - doesn't look good for me if after two mouthfuls I chuck it all over the PC!
I crapped myself coz thought someit had blown....
I coudn't play PR!Been rectified by substituting the reset for power button so should be good to go.

Just read the above & realised it sounds v boring..never mind!

Very lucky Com. Drinking and playing games should be outlawed to avoid accidents like this. The loss of one's pc can lead to:
More Drinking
Watching crap telly
Telly channel surfing
Speaking to real people
Thumping said real people when they don't understand
Constant calls to the PC Hospital asking about the progress on your baby
More crap telly
Over eating of healthy foods
