It's 3:15am, my eyes and straining like hell, but not nearly as much as my bladder and I've just come off PR after a mammoth... WAR is the only word I can use to describe it.

The proof is in the battle rec files, we had a game on street, we forced our way straight through to the market and found ourselves being beaten back and eventually down into defeat after a gruelling face to face back alley brawl.

The real game came with Qwai my quad was lucky enough to have the CO of NATO from C6 as our transport pilot and between me, commando and viglen on ts we had what was definately one of my best games on pr to date, the battles were savage, the choppers were flying people left right and centre instantly, no messing around, it was a beautifully orchestrated piece of teamwork, thought against the opposing team it felt like climbing everest in treacle it was throuroughly enjoyable.

this happens more often on T&T than I find with any other server and I also find that its a lot more informal and friendly on our beloved server (for example you dont get flamed to the ground for blaring out "ENEMY THINGYMABOBBY ATTACKING FROM THE SOUTH!")

and though im absolutly annihilated, I still wanna play, cos we're still £35 down and we have only one day to go... I shall be entering into negotiations with my parents to try and procure a loan so I can pay off my overdraft If I can achieve this by midday tomorrow I should be able to chuck 20 quid in but thatll still leave us 15 quid short .

I'm going to be trying the best I can and hopefully some other folk can stretch a lil bit more, because that lil extra push is gonna give us a whole extra month, by which we should be able to pull in a fair few more experienced members (especially in the shadow of C6 there will be a lot of hungry gamers) that can aid with server costs.

It just seems that T&T is really starting to wiggle its way up through the ranks of servers and the conciousness of PR players, everyday I see more regulars becoming more regular, then becoming members and the community is growing. It seems a real shame to have it slip away for a month (or longer??) when things are starting to pick up with getting more of the devs and such.

We're the nice guys and we cant let our nice guy server be beaten.. by.. un nice things.... ok ive lost my way now, in fact I lost my way a few paragraphs up there, never mind T&T forever :D

***SHORT VERSION*** T&T is awesome, it's only getting better, shit we need money fast, lets not let it end

here here-long live the server!................screw it,make it 64 player..!

Twas a great couple of maps - quai was more or less down to the wire - those UNSTF guys fought well - even if they did moan a bit at first!

My 10 year old son pays £4.00 a month to play runescape - he only gets £10 a month pocket money - see where I'm going with this bad parenting statement.........;)

Cain is right-lets keep it alive

I wholey agree with everything thats been said, if it wasn't for some numpty i swore at profusely last night and the mood i was in, i would of stayed on as i was enjoying myself up until that point. Yes yes i know i shouldn't let what some prat on a keyboard is saying, but i am the sort of person that if i met said person i would quite happily knock their teeth down their throat - don't say anything you can't back up! *rant over*

We have always managed to keep the server going, through anonymous donations, but that is stopping and i don't blame the people who have done it, from propping up the server month in month out.

What i would like to see is everyone donate some a month, not a huge amount, but with the amount of members we have, regardless of age (ok that will play a big part admittedly), we could keep the server going year in year out. Unfortunately not everyone does which is a shame.

Personally i would like to see those lazy gits hoofed from the community. I've said it once and i'll say it again and again. Our server effing rocks. We have a damn good crew, who like a laugh and play well together. I've seen other servers get sponsership and then fold because the sponsers dictate the server size and attitude. Something i don't want to see with T&T ever.

So folks, if you all want to keep going, lets donate each month a small amount, if everyone did it we'd keep the server and avoid posts like mine.

End of message,
Nat out

Addendum: Since trying out various clans since my leaving many moons ago and returning to the fold, i have to say this is the most friendly clan i have ever been a member of, ever.

(That's forum names, not in game)

That's 21 members.

Server price is currently £76. Divide £76 by 21 and you get about £3.62. A month!!

I appreciate that not everyone has lots of available cash, and I admit I don't know what it's like to be really hard up. But is £3.62 a month so difficult? I don't know whether it is or not, so please do tell me.

Obviously, that list of members is everyone who is registered as a T&T member. Not all regularly play, so can't be expected to contribute. That said, there are some names on that list who play very infrequently, and who still chip in £15 - £20 a month. Why should they?!

Even if only 15 people chipped in, that'd be about £5 per month. Half of us chip in, and it's still less than a tenner. Is it becoming clear now?

Come on folks. Don't let the fun die. Do what you can please.

And Sadist_Cain - don't do anything stupid. This is NOT your problem.

I paid £10 last night which if I am not mistaken covers almost 3 people. I don't moan about it, I like to contribute because as one of the original founder members of this community when it was MKP I don't like to see the server offline or the same peole always bridging the gap.

It would seem that people are all to quick to jump on the server and rave about how good the community and server are but lack the ability to share the worry of renewing the server to keep that same sentiment alive.

£3 or so is NOT a lot to think about. What's the price of a beer, fags, a return bus ticket etc. these days in the UK epoch? Oh hang on, maybe I won't buy the cheese this month that I like and throw the 2 quid in to the server......

This is aside from keeping the web server going and the money that has been paid for the Forum and Gallery packages. I know, I think I'll trash the website, remove the forum and gallery and see how we all get on with a static homepage that looks like this:

And people wonder why I am not on the server...

I'll always throw my fiver into the bottomless cash pit :p

I thought it was more than that each if we all payed, and with people donating tenners aswell, we should keep this baby up and running for ages !

Come on guys ! We can do this !
