Once out, I suggest a locked server for training so we can then kick ass - nothing too major, just trying out the new functions etc.

The good thing is that 0.7 demands teamwork in greater levels than 0.6 - something we have plenty of!

DECEMBER 31ST 0.7 RELEASE DATE HOLY SHIT!!!!!

If we do lock the server I think we should put PW details up here for anyone registered on site to se, and put www.tacteam.org for the server name so ppl will know where to go for the pass.

I personally want the sort of players who go through that amount of effort to find summin for a good game :P

we just have to be careful as it can backfire quite badly and lose us some new blood if we dont play it right

Even an hour would be useful - would like to check things that require 2 or more people like JDAMs, CAS, laser sighting etc .... Will be easier to get the hang of them when not in a 'live' server with everyone fighting over new stuff.

building as a squad leader

designating targets for CAS

How the new counter attack map plays

poss some commander practice

getting used to the new weapon handling changes

Things I'm not so bothered about:

Flying - I crash way 2 much & like having my boots on the ground!

I would like to test the whole CAS/SOFLAM thing operates especially how getting a laser 'lock' on moving vehicles works, I dont mind acting as a 'moving target' for someone else to knock around

yep-one of the coolest things about flashpoint was the way your weapon moved with your breathing so if you just ran a sprint, u had to steady your aim.

will make calculated squad approaches worthwhile & lose another % of Bf2V imo

I say lock the server around 7:30pm tomorrow night, give people enough time to download it and send out PRIVATE MESSAGES to those we will allow on for testing.

I know it sounds elitist but i for one would like to have a laugh with good peeps instead of swearing at morons as i will do.

Say an hour or so for testing, get up to speed on the new stuff then open it up to joe public and SPANK THEIR ARSES RAW

We tend to get the new server releases before the client, so hopefully I'll have the server up and running during tomorrow (I'm off work).

Quining is the worst map ever don't play it if you have any self respect. In the planes if one wheel goes off the runway you hit a glitch then blow up and get a crap load of minus points. Every 1 second someone will creep up behind you. I hope you get the picture... just don't play it!
