View Full Version : BF2142 Problems
Thought i'd start a thread about any problems people are having with BF2142.
Basically just to let members know with a view to handing it over to EA for reference.
Just add to this forum.
Problem: When idle in main screen, ie; BFHQ the game disconnects you from the EA master server and fucks up your internet connection.
Solution: System restart and router restart.
Problem: Favourites folder refuses to refresh or update.
Solution: None
Problem: Disconnect from EA master server and EA Link.
Solution: BIN THE FUCKING GAME ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHH
in game problem :- jump out of ur stationary chopper, touch it and die for sum reason, also works when ur team mates jump out an u tk them even tho ur not even near ur mouse/keyboard.
solution :- needs glitches fixing in next patch
problem :- falling thru the titan floor :s
solution :- again glitches fixed in the next patch (fingers crossed)
Problem: Unable to revive dead folk in titan. Probably due to titan moving after shields have been knocked out, chasing stiffs across the floor.
Solutuon: Vote kick your commander, TK your commander, Admin kick your commander or wait till EA "fix" it in a patch. I have found that if the bodies get caught up against a wall you have a 1 in 3 chance of reviving them.
EA/Dice will be attempting to fix most of these issues in this month's patch.
Aye so i've heard. i was just curious as to how many problems there are :)
ok new problem since the latest patch, game crashing when alt tabbing to desktop, battleman is also having this problem since the latest patch.
hopefully there will be a hotfix for it sooooon.

If you have removed/renamed the intro movies, you need to put them back to their orignal state.
God only knows why it should help with the alt-tab issue.
