New Mod - Point of Existence 2

The 'eagerly awaited' Point of Existence 2 mod for BF2 was released yesterday.

The original PoE was for Battlefield Vietnam, and was very popular indeed. This new mod looks to be just such a hit too.

It's got lots of new maps, new vehicles and weapons (included a shoulder mounted anti-aircraft missile). More interestingly, it's got player controlled artillery. One player uses their binoculars to 'spot' targets, and the person driving (yup, driving) the artillery then gets the coordinates and aims and fires the arty - and hopefully hits the spot. That should me much more interesting than the current commander controlled 'sure hit' method.

And I STILL couldn't get it to work on the MKP server .....

So I've set up a PoE2 server on the Fairwars box - 82.136.37.58

Into week 8 of no internet thanks to BT's fucking elephant shagging curry eating wife beating call centre in bongo bongo land (apologies to anyone for my references but after 8 weeks of being messed about even my "PCness" is out the window, if i could i'd nuke the fracking call centre)

My opinion on this mode : i find BF2 it's a difficult game but this mod makes the game more difficult (to fly with a chopper, to aim a tank with anti-tank, ...).

I have no problems flying with my chopper matey, you must need a pair of tweezers lol :)

I find BF2 easy - admittedly after hours of practising using only a mouse and keyboard.
