Thread concerning help/improving multiplayer experience in FC2.

I posted on the 104th forums thanking them for their server and i also commented on the 'low terrain detail'... and got this response.

Tip1:A player can override the server scene settings. Navigate to your ...LOFC2\Bazar\Terrain\Scenes and make a backup of that folder. Then simply copy and rename High.scn to low.scn. Now if you are on a server set to low, you will get high scenes.

Epoch, I experimented with the render distance of objects and increasing it doesn't seem to do anything;

Both pics are taken from the same track, I have edited the graphics.cfg in between taking these shots. both shots are from 25km.

First the modified with theoretically longer rendering distance:

and the default settings:

No difference at all...

I can't figure out how to up the rendering distance. its like theres a max limit at 30000 meters, because thats when you can start making out targets in the shkval (although they will be translucent)

On the other hand you can decrease the rendering distance as much as you want, heres what happens when you lower it to 10 meters instead of 80000 meters. :p
