We're having a try of Operation Vulture (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9291).

To play, you'll need ACE2 fully updated (inc. CBA and ACEX).

Also required is Isla Duala (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9150).

Got my new rig assembled and are ready to rockn' roll with a SSD disk, 6 gb ram and a quadcore cpu.

Just need to finetune my freetrack and I'll have reached the highest level of "nerdvana".

We had a run through of the mission last night. Was great. Excellent map, and really good mission.

Katash is going to make some edits to the mission, and hopefully we'll try it again this evening.

Battleye is fixed, ta.

Its just a damn sound problem i have now. I don't hear gun shot sounds, which is kind of important. I may need to reinstall, as i've tried repatching to no effect. All other sounds seems ok.. but all rifle have no gun shot sounds. :confused:

Do you have @ACEX_SM in your ArmA2 folder? If you have, is it being run as an addon?

If you don't have @ACEX_SM, try downloading it (you'll need to add it to your Addon Sync or Six-Updater installation config).

ACEX_SM is a sound pack. I think it was just temporary, but it's worth checking to see if you're using it, and if not, trying to use it to see if your problem is fixed.

i'll have a look at it and do some testing..

i need to see if its an ACE issue. I suspect it is but am surprised that Addon Sync & Six Updater failed to get all files correct.

Yes & No.

Wasn't in my shortcut.. i think that has fixed it, cheers. Tested on a local server.

server updated to latest version of ACE within last ten minutes , so run your updater before you join

Ummm .. run the updater and it'll tell you .... ?

No, no it won't. Updater just updates gems and then tells me to close... as far as I can see it's given up actually checking the ACE folders lol.

uninstall six updater then reinstall. don't touch your ace folders.

then re-run the update.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago.
