you can use the Trackir clip with freetrack :)

I believe miggins is using the track clip with some camera and free track in ROF. Does Freetrack also work fully in Arma 2? I might just go with that.

Yeah, I initially built a 3 IRLed set that ran off a couple of batteries, but I'd only get around 4 hours reliable use from a battery set, so I bought a track clip pro a little while back with a pass-through USB for power.

Works fine, though I did have to take apart my Logitech quickcam chat to remove the IR filter, but that only took around an hour (quick cam chat is a cheapo camera and the lens assembly is all glued together rather than fixed with screws).

Decent TIR results for less than 30 quid altogether.

Imp if you use our Market Place (http://www.tacteam.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41) forum, you might get some interest. It's a decent enough stick, and there are plenty of fliers here.
