Having tried the demo, and liked it - I think I'll buy it

Steam has it for £29.99 but they are also doing a 4 licence purchase for £89.99 Here (http://store.steampowered.com/app/550/)

Each of the 3 spare copies can be gifted to a Steam friend

So basically it works out £22.50 each which is cheaper than play.com (£26.99)

I have a workmate who is interested so was wondering if anyone else here is?

i would considering i dont want to pay full price from what i have seen and played myself seems like a mod.

But 22 still seems steep to me

No doubt in 2 months it will be 50% off for a while like they did with L4D

These days my way of seeing it is:

L4D2 isn't so much a mod, as it is an improvement on the old engine - I can see from that point of view why it couldn't just be patched into L4D. A bit like how Napoleon : Total War uses Empire's engine (albiet improved) and is selling under a new title.

I'm not so annoyed about that, I'm more annoyed that they promised new content for L4D but instead dropped it for L4D2.

That said, £22-30 is a drop in the ocean for anyone with even a weekend job, so it's not worth crying over - If you like it, buy it =]

ive seen some trailers for shattered horizon.. doesnt look overly brilliant tbh lol

I didn't think it looked that special, when you have a good look around you realise it is.
And the Dev's are very active in the steam and futuremark forums + ingame. which is nice.
Also very responsive, it was discussed on the steam forum that everyone who buys the game should get 3 guest passes so they can let a buddy try it for a few days and they announced they were doing that the same night, and have/are.
(my passes have gone sorry guys!)
I didn't think I would go for a space game.
When you think about it it sounds a bit pap.

press middle mouse = zoom
q = cycle nade type
e = fire nade
c = boost
f = use your grav boots

its just brilliant I think, may take a while to catch on properly but the way that FMstudio is going I can see me buying all their stuff. After the way Infinity Ward and the likes empty their arse on us PC gamers from a great height it's a refreshing change to have futuremark.
