awww the memories.... tis a shame so many have been dropped over the years. I understand the reasons..but they all have some great features and would provide some great and much needed diversity.
Cheers GoreZiad
Some of those maps doesn't look to bad, wonder if they'd be "playable" in todays PR...
Nice video :)

Street, Op Pheonix, Airport and Zatar oh how I miss them, it seems so long ago.
maps likst zatar and pheonix make me wonder, would they really of been THAT bad in PR today?
I understand why a few were taken out but I had no idea there were so many! the mod seems to dry out very quickly with only 2 or 3 new maps per release and even more being taken out everytime.
Like tommy said, some more diversity would be pleasant :)
Edit: Ohhhhh and helmand!!!!
Helmand was great for intense battles as it was so compact.... really want that one back.
zatar was really good and daqing was actually quite good too
I loved Zatar and Daqing .. my favourite nillamaps.
Some great PR maps from the past. Hills of Hamyong was always interesting.

Daqing always got slated but I rarely had a bad game on that one.
I just can't understand how a map can't be "PR enough" ... Especially with the new conquest mode eliminating any ping pong flag problems.
Surely its the players that make the map

They get taken out because as better maps get added the size of the mod increases
There look to be some quqality maps that have been through the ages shame they arent around now
