Its got something to do with the Fookin 0!!!!! and Multiplying it!

a2=ab ---> a2=a x b <---correct
a2-b2=ab-b2 <--- correct, cause a2 is equal to ab, so a2-b2=ab-b2
(a+B)(a-B)=b(a-B) <-- WRONG: its supposed to be:
a2-ab x ab-b2= something but i do know its wrong

errm no frank the factorisation is correct....
a^2 - b^2 = (a-B)(a+B)
multiply out the brackets and youll end up with a^2 - b^2 again :P
(a-B)(a+B) = a^2 +ab -ab - b^2 = a^2 - b^2
see :P
Rob had it up there, multiplying by zero gives zero... or take it one step further:
(a+B)(a-B) = b(a-B)
to get from that ^ to this: a+b=b
you will need to divide both sides by (a-B) and if a=b, a-b = o
and you cant divide by zero....
