Skin-Sharing Tool

Simply hit the link at the top-left hand side with the blue arrow next to it, it'll download and install.

Give it twenty seconds to sort itself out (it may appear to hang; stay with it, it hasn't) - then it'll present you with a dialogue box to identify your Rise of Flight directory.

Find it, okay it, then hit: "MANUAL CHECK". It connects to rof-tools.de and grabs a list of skins.

Clicking "SYNC" will then pull all of the skins down to your machine, and place them in the correct folder. No fuss, no mess.



What it means is, so long as you're playing MP against a fellow Skinsharing Tool user, and only have Skinsharing Tool skins enabled in your skins directory - you can select any skin you want, and they'll see the correct one at their end.

For now they'll still see white planes, until Neoqb get it to show the aircraft's default skin.

I've included a link to the tool in the server's name though - what I'm hoping is that enough players will start using it that it'll gain a kind of critical mass- players new to the server who see white will go "WTF" and everyone else will go "Download the tool!".

Might have a few days to a week crossover period where there's a fair few folk seeing white, but we'll see...

No skin tool for me.
