will RoF run on my machine?

Core2 Duo E6750 (2.66Ghz, 1333Mhz FSB, 2Mb L2 Cache
Nvidia 8600gt 1 gig
3 gig of memory
and HUGE hard drive

Well the 8600 i've got is buggering about and keeps blue screening. SO i'm off to exchange it tonight.

I've got a 9800GTX (512Mb) and it ran the game comfortably enough on medium settings with that E6750.

Not sure you'd see *much* less performance on a 9800GT, though sure there'd be some loss.

Either way, you'd play it on low-mid settings I should think.

There is a full-install Demo available - the Rise of Flight forums have details. Might be worth trying that, tho the setup/registration process is a bit of a bugger.

Well it won't ahppen now. I'm reduced to a 9500 GT 512meg. The 8600 GT was faulty and the wife wouldn't stump up for a 9800.

Won't be upgrading this anytime this side of xmas now i've lost my job aswell.

The 9500 is the 8600 on a smaller manufactoring process, more or less. It's supposed to be alright, for a budget card.

Might be worth trying the demo at least, on low settings it still looks pretty swish.
