bought this yesterday, installed yesterday, fired it up today and thought "bugger cba with that just yet!"

I thought I was buying a modern afterburner not a flight sim lol :idiot:

noobs guide needed please, and a control config for saitek-cyborg evo if poss.

(on the subject of controls, should I be afraid...very afraid or is it like Arma2 where lots of them are pointless controls just to confuse you - seagull etc?)

Be very afraid. Lockon is not easy. Can't help you with stick config, I don't have a Cyborg.

Do the tutorials.

Wooly - best advice is, as Epoch says - try to get to grips with the tutorials.

I have a Cyborg Evo and I've got a full lockon setup - I'll drop you the profile once I'm back home (next week); don't have it saved to my laptop unfortunately.

I image we'll be able to hop on one evening and give you a guided tour to A-10 basics at some point :)

It's a steep learning curve for the keybindings etc but well worth the effort.

From one lock on noob to another its well worth it =P

Had many a fun night with the various others who play despite the learning curve and my F-15 always plumeting to earth for no reason :D

Takes alot of getting used to theres no denying that, but dont let that put you because its a good game to be able to accomplish. Personally I suck at it and gave up, but Im a general failure lol!
