I'm just downloading (again) the latest version of Darkest Hour (ww2 mod based on Red Orchestra)

Good game... any others interested?

Eh?

RO is a stand alone game... you can get it for a fiver... Darkest Hour is a fee mod for it.

Ro is indeed a mod snapped up for retail
but its relatively cheap and then darkest hour is free

Ro is not a mod.

It WAS a mod but then it won some comp and won the rights to the unreal engine and thus became a retail game.

Had fun playing this.... graphics are dated.. but the gameplay is great.

Its a good 'jump in have some fun ad run away game'.. in the way that you don't need hours to get into it and have a laugh.

Yeah tommy i have been playing it quite alot

and yeah RO was a mod for Unreal tournament but as we know Mods are the best type of game :)

It was £4.99 from steam.. maybe it was a promo or something?

edit: just checked steam.. says its £8.99 now.

Hmmm all traces of Darkest Hour has been removed from my PC.. very odd.. anyone else had this happen? I certainly did not remove it manually.

Re-installing again!... hmm actually it wont let me..:(

Artificial Intelligence has finally arrived.

Next .. computers that refuse to install MS Office ... that would be progress.

I noticed that too when i booted up steam today although i havent attempted to reinstall.

^^ well its reappeared as installed now. Weird.

The really weird thing is i checked my drive earlier and the local files were also 'missing'. Very odd. Oh well its fixed itself.
