So important to take backups.
Read about that on DCS last night
Man that sucks,
Been reading the temp forum and to say simmers are rallying to the aid of AVSIM is a understatement
No! I used to use that site loads back in the 56k days, spent ages downloading a B29 for CFS :(

Wow :|
Used to use that site a fair bit too for various FSX stuff, you could get lost in all the different stuff they had ! Hopefully it'll rise again, would be such a waste to see, as said on the BBC link, "13 years of hard work on Tom's part... wiped out"
Temporary forum hosted HERE. (http://linux.myalbemarle.org/forums/index.php)
OT: Just noticed the last time the page was updated !

EDIT: Just saw this on a seperate website:
The website had recently suffered problems related to a new staff member misusing their position to harvest user data for spamming purposes. There's no proof as yet that the fraudulent activity of this staff member and their subsequent firing was related to the destruction of the site - though some forum members are drawing that conclusion.
The issue here though is that the site owner apparently had a backup plan which didn't account for complete loss of service. He was backing up from one machine to another. Were he to lose both machines everything would be lost. That's exactly what's happened.
The [T&T] site is backed-up in several locations, both online and offline.
Hacker slike this annoy the hell out of me

Well ... it's only a website, and you're studying to be a medic. Interesting....
