Just tried the demo... 'removed local content' after 30 seconds of play.. no exaggeration and it was a very easy decision, utter pants.

So you started the demo and loaded the first misson and turned it off before you could play :p

I'd be interested to know why you seem to dislike it that much sounds like you didnt give it a chance.
Anyway i'll get this on the xbox i would bet most who played the demo would agree you can tell its been more geared towards the console ie controll system and all. Still fun on PC although the controls are more clunky in my opinion.
Plus all the pretty explosions and foiliage causes my PC to cry =P
I'd strongly advise you to try the demo before spending a penny on this arcade crap.
No infantry, totally unrealistic, looks shit, gameplay was terrible/ very dull... i really have nothing good to say about it.
I'm aware I didn't give it long...literally about 30 seconds.. but it was MORE than enough time, for me anyhow.

i remember playing battlestation midway
It is very arcaday as tommy said.
IN Midway you controlled subs, aircraft carrier , battleships and destroyers and basically all int was is click what directiona dn speed oyu want on the HUD then aim and click your mouse to fire cannons MG's and or torps.
The only slightly amusing part was the arcadey air fights and charging some torpedo bombers at a battleship at about 10m off the ground to drop a torpedo correctly or diving 3 bombers into a vertical dive on a carrier to drop the load.
i wish they made the ships and subs more realistic i really do
