^^ that's weird.. how can it timeout and then pickup again.. never seen that..

some of the routers aren't responding to the ping. quite normal.

Guys read my post ...

I need the full trace so do it to a txt file and wait for it to complete. If the last entry is a timeout it's useless cos it doesn't Id the problem.

Sometimes it can take a while to complete.

How do we get the tracert into a .txt or code box like you have, eppy?

It was in the shoutbox ... I'm astonished you didn't see it :p

tracert > filename.txt

The > directs the output to the file, instead of screen.

How do we get the tracert into a .txt or code box like you have, eppy?
