Datalinking Information

The 'Developer Video' relating to datalink is very important, however I came across This (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35417&highlight=editor+flight+plan&page=2)

Half way down Madmatt_BFC writes how the Shkval can be auto slewed to Abris targets, so basically if someone is looking at a target and datalinks it to someone else, rather than them have to manually slew the shkval over the target it will move directly to it.

Tested it just now and it works a treat.

I can see this tactic being used effectivly against SAM sites, One person marks the position of the SAM from a safe distance while the other flies within Vikhr range while staying in cover - Information gets datalinked and the attacker can pop-up out of cover and attack without searching for the target.

Only problem I can see is Vikhrs are not fire and forget so you'll have to maintain laser lock all the way, dunno who's missiles are faster in this case yours or theirs :p

Yea the datalink system doesnt work how we first thought it did.
