Kicked for an offensive name?

Good afternoon, I was just kicked for having an offensive name, a name I've been using for email, other screen names for years without issue. I prefer to play on your server due to the maturity level of the players and admins. Could you look into changing your decision regarding my name? Thank you.

I've just checked the log and seen the entry in the log when you were kicked.

I do think your name is somewhat distasteful, though I note you've been using it since 2005.

You can re-connect to the server, but I do think you should consider that many people will find your name offensive and in bad taste, so I strongly encourage you to consider a change.

Other than creating a profile just for Realitymod, I don't know how to change my name. If it's a nasty term in the Queens English, I appologize, I'm far from some kid trying to irritate someone, Just an old man that likes shooting bad guys on his time off. Thank you for your prompt response.

It's understandable. It's a simple misunderstanding between cultures!! I see that spastic (or spaz) has a different meaning over here in the UK than it does in the US (where it's pretty harmless).

You shouldn't have any issues, and our admins have hopefully read this and know my stance on this.

No need to change the name - but don't be surprised if you get some flak! The admins should be able to deal with any problems though.
