.. fancy some ArmA tonight?

I was thinking of putting the Evolution or Domination mission on. Should last a good few days! Only really worth it though if there's plenty of us on.

WOW! A COUPLE OF DAYS! Do you need to conquer the island? And how does it go? Are you just playing as infantry? Or what?

Length is dependant on how many players we get but historically it's lasted 1-2 weeks

You start as a private with limited access to hardware and weapons, complete small missions and gain points, with higher points comes promotion and more hardware gets unlocked

IIRC we start holding one of the airfields and the main objectives are to destroy comms towers in each town/city to prevent re-inforcements then sieze the town/city

Ultimate objective is to take the whole island

Side missions are things like ambush convoys, take out high ranking soldiers, destroy certain buildings etc .... can be played with AI assistance or without

That sounds totaly awesome! But they arent played as much as they should? These big games?
