Dual screen help !

Evening !

Having had 2 screens since Christmas, I've always wanted them to work in a multi-screen setup.

So I plugged both monitors into the same graphics card, removed then updated the graphics cards drivers (181.something Nvidia ones)

So I rebooted, went to the Properties screen & it identified the two screens. Primary monitor (A Yuraku model. 1440x900 19" TFT) Works fine.
Switch on secondary screen (A Yuraku model. 1280x1024 19" TFT)

The second monitor is obviously receiving a picture since the glow around the power button is green (usually orange when no signal + a message on screen) but just shows a blank screen.

Tried plugging secondary monitor into graphics card #2. Same result.

Any help ?

Have you ticked "extend my desktop to this monitor"?

Yep. I can also tell since I can move my mouse over to the other screen & drag it back (i.e the mouse doesnt stop at the edge of screen one, it carries over)

Your not running the second monitor on a resolution above its supported res are you?

Nope, second monitor is running at its native resolution of 1280x1024

Even tried all the way from 800x600 upwards, still no luck !

Update: Don't know how I did it but I thought I'd have another go at it today, and it works !

Set all colour & RGB values the same as primary monitor. Even though they're by the same manufacturer the colour difference is huge ! *sets about fiddling with settings*
