View Full Version : SOF2 Bollixed
Right after having SOF2 read my new graphics card as a PCI in the sof2mp.cfg, i decided to uninstall and reinstall sof2.
What a fukn mistake that was.
Bunged the new osp 1.0f intot he osp folder, rerun the pbweb update and i get kicked for invalid PK3. files.
WTF!
Any ideas?

Thats what it says in my SOF2mp.cfg
No matter how often i cahnge it and save it, it always comes back to that and i get this god awful graphic flickering.
If i had epilepsy i'd be totally screwed.
Only does it in SOF2
Have you re-installed DirectX? You'll need to.
Also, have you tried 'wiser' (wiser.exe) to check your sof2 file integrity ?

might sound a silly question but you did uninstall nvidia drivers before puttng the 5900 in didnt you?
Stu yes i uninstalled ALL nvidia drivers including my bloody Nforce 2 jobbys. In fact the whole lot before installing the 5900 lol.
In fact everything went.
I have now appeared to of fixed everything, as epoch and TP will attest to i managed to play sof2 last nite for a while.
Am updating all my drivers for the mobo and soundcard aswell. as NFSU:2 hangs on the sound, much like HL2 does.
Mmmm also helps if i update my Soundblaster Audigy seeing as though i'm using the same drivers as came on the install disc from absolute years ago :blink:

No i need to figure out why NFSU:2 keeps locking up on sound repeats grrrrrrr

This is true. I am worse when i've been playing sof2 or nfsu. then it's just playing

I already completed nfsu2...its feckin small and easy...while i play on hard :blink:
Aye the gameplay is a bit you know, poo. But they've introduced the goodam Evo :)
Shame they haven't put in an old GTO or a tvr or a dodge charger or a mustang
