Bit about the cheese.
Whelp I've never been a clanny sort. I'm a right asshole that enjoys a good time and long walks in deserted areas in PR. (CALL ME IF YOUR INTERESTED!) I generally play about anything about anytime. Few issues of course is I don't do tags like [T&T] for any game names on any games a play. I can't shoot for crap on most FPS's but I somehow manage to muddle my way decently through most of them.
But despite that I am usually a friendly type that will bust your ass in good humor when I can. I'm up for about anything atleast three times and I have the worst habit of speaking like I am from somewhere outside London. (Thats where my mate Punisher is near and I sadly got my speaking patterns from him.)
Anywho can I pwease get an edit button?

Good to see your app, but can you just clarify what you meant about [T&T] tags. They're necessary, because it identifies you as a community member to pubbies, so they know if they join a [T&T] squad they're going to get a good game.

As for clarification. As I said. I never really did tags. Even the current ones on my account are nothing but a rip on clans. Clans always were the overly serious group of idiots that just tried to be elitests and had the wrong attitude about games.
Ah... Joining a squad with me won't really say they are going to get a -good- game. They'll get a fun entertaining one but -good- is really a definition thing.

Before it begins! I am well aware this isn't a clan or I wouldn't be posting on the website. I won't waste my time with those guys. But as I said. I don't do tags. Hence why I really didn't plan on applying here. MadTommy just kinda said I needed to be a member to get an edit button on the website.
I don't need to be a member to keep playing with ya'll or to help you when ya need it. Its a tad stubborn of me but as I said I don't and probably never will do tags. If that disqualifies me its cool. I'll keep on as I have and most likely will still throw ya the 20 bucks a month when I finish getting winter tires on my car.
Basically regardless of how this turns out your not getting rid of the irritating Cheese. Just figured I'd throw it out there and get a reading on how you'll feel on my rad levels before I head backout in the wastelands. (Yes I bought and played Fallout 3 to much already.)

Tags are a requirement - it's nothing to do with elitism, and we're probably the last group or gamers to be anywhere near taking ourselves seriously. If you can't budge on that then no problem. We're happy to see you on the server regardless :)

Tis all good there mate. Just not my thing. Where I come from gaming-wise tags always meant bad things. I always kinda prefer to be a background guy and let my actions say what I am and who I am rather then some silly group of letters.
Though I understand the reasoning behind it. Its kinda good to let people know who you are from the get go and good representation is also a plus. Don't take my words as harsh to you all. (Well except Gunny. Hes an ass.) I'd never have gotten on your teamspeak or posted as I said if I didn't get the jist of what you'll do. Heh, I bet you'd end up regretting me as a showcase for the name. :D
If your truly happy to see me on the server your insane! Haha but regardless uh. Can I be like a forum member and a non-game member or something? >.> I just want my bleeding edit button! I live off those things. ;)

Not a thing to do with you guys mate. Tis but my stubborn nature. I don't do tags. I never did tags on Rubberducky and hell I've been an admin on there for two years now I think. Heck people with =RD= were all into gaming. I just enjoy the chitchat and clusterfuck that gets created.
Tags to me alway showed that dedicated kinda gamer that worries over his stats, what his score was, that kinda stuff and that ain't my style. If its a rule I can respect it as I said its all your choice. Thats what is gonna stop me its gotta stop me. I'm just set in my ways you damn redcoat.

According to the forum permissions, EVERYONE can edit their posts unless they're banned.
It must be a bug, and will probably get fixed when we manage to upgrade VBulletin.

Nah tis all good. From your first response Epoch I figured there was an issue with the edit button. Just a guess but did you make 'members' a group? If so its likely caused by confusion on basic terminology. At the moment people who just join are usually standard members while people in groups are not. They are part of that group. (Membership at the moment.) So you might want to create a new group and have people join that from the beginning thus being able to give it proper rights to do what and what not.
Regardless! Bloody hell I've been denied for Christ sake. A simple "FUCK OFF YOU USELESS CHEESE." would have done not two pages of answers! Let the thread die!! (This from the guy who is posting it in.) :poke:

Nah to be honest both at the moment due to having Fallout 3, which basically means I don't exactly plan to be playing much else for a while and well the tags thing which I figured would be an issue. Thats why I never really took the time and effort to write up a page before now. Either way I give you this small reminder.

We'll see. As I said I am chest deep in Fallout 3 so my PR time is very limited at the moment. (I just got to Rivet City. Nothing like a beached aircraft carrier after I just got done nuking a town to lift my spirits.) So I plan to be some invisible cheese for a while.
But I must say thanks to Epoch for the kind words despite how I am and the fact a few of you are oddly enough still bugging me about shirking my standards and hoping on board with ya'll. Its nice to see.

Epoch, I am very flattered actually that you'd dig this thread ether and give it another go but really I can't say I've changed my mind on the tags.
As stated before, I rather dislike the idea of tags and to refer to a previous post.
Not a thing to do with you guys mate. Tis but my stubborn nature. I don't do tags. I never did tags on Rubberducky and hell I've been an admin on there for two years now I think.
I'm a Duck first and always. I'm more then glad to assist with the server, Filling it up, throwing a few bucks your way to help pay for teamspeak which I use, the server which I use, testing bugs, and all those kinds of things but it isn't proper for me to wear tags when I couldn't say T&T would be 'my place'.
I don't want you to take this as insulting or degrading in anyway. Hell I've felt like I'm a part of your community even if it isn't official and when I say I am flattered I truly mean it. Few people have pestered me to this level to join something with them but it wouldn't feel right for me considering I couldn't dedicate myself to it.
What you have here is a special place and its the only reason I still take the time to play PR. However The Duck will always come first in my eyes. Its my place and will be till I am not welcome there again. I can't and won't lower the value of this group by joining it half-heartedly.
You have my deepest of apologies but I can't wear the tags. I knew that when I applied and only did so because MadTommy had said it would fix the bug and I had hoped I could be a forum member only rather then a game one.
If Heskey were alive today he would say yes. Lets do it, do it for the good of all Project Reality Slices of Cheese everywhere...
