View Full Version : headphones, i need new ones, also, my pc hates microphones

so today i managed to rip the cabling out of the jacks of my fatal1ty gaming headsets :(. As a result, i need a new pair but I'm looking for opinions if anyone got some.

i had a pair of sennheiser 161s before, but i personally found the fatal1ty ones to have better base plus i really liked the fact you could remove the microphone...

any ideas?

edit, ooo and my pc likes to blow the microphone jacks on headsets too, but i'm pretty sure i fixed that now ;)

I personally am a Medusa fan I have had several different types including sennheiser
The 5.1 medusa's are the best in my opinion

Just my 2 cents

I got the medusa headphones and unfortunatly I was running an Audigy2 and there are known bass problems with that card - since changing to x-fi the bloody things are melting my brain every time I play PR now! .... Far better than a 5.1 speaker setup and very good quality.

I had a wire come loose inside the mic port after about 1 year tho but that is due to me man-handling them around, I just simply stripped it down and re-soldered it - Piece of piss.

Basically I'd give them 5 stars *****
