Steam - Red Orchestra - HL2 Insurgency

Well i wanted to try this.. Red Orchestra, and its only available through Steam now, :(

So i'm gonna get it.. and i'm also gonna reinstall HL2 mod - Insurgency, as it's pretty good - (it was only steam stopping me putting it back on)

So if any others have these or fancy getting them post there and we'll get a game together soon.

Can anyone tell me what parts of HL2 i need to install play Insurgency?... i've bever played HL2 and don't intend to.

Mind you - I've downloaded some Commodore 64 games onto my Wii - bloody brilliant.

RO looks really good.. and i've never tried it.. and Insurgency is quite fun.. but i've not played the latest version..

RO is still going strong.. much larger community than PR for example and i love a good WW2 game.. so for $20 it sounds like a winner :D

Oh and they are both 'reality' games.. as it were.

TBH its really not that bad... and also people dont 'float' like they do in this vid..(lag).

Its not PR but i remember many good games. I'll let you know when i get it reinstalled and have a play.

Yeah just tried the latest version.. really good.

I tried to get some FRAPS for the non believers.. but for some reason FRAPS & Insurgency was crashing my rig.. weird.

HL2 Insurgency IS a good game, so if you have the the Source SDK Base, its free.. well worth checking out!

i hate insurgency. terrible game. nice sounds weapons graphics as its based on the source engine,... but its too small scaled and the maps are so bottlenecked
