That NZ guy from bravo two zero was in the NZ SAS - apparently you can apply to them just like an ordinary job!

They NZ SAS guys still see the brit SAS as a step up though mainly due to their security/combat experience (according to his book anyway - I don't pretend to know what SAS guys think!)

well yes you probberly can reply to them as an ordenary job as in the french legion but i dont think tho many civilians applcations are recived from folks who wanna start on a fresh one but who knows. I'we tried to gather some more info about the NZ guys but it's really hard to get it seam's for some reason they are holding the cards close to the body... :-) ha ha

No worries mate - stuff gets lost in translation - no offence intended by me either.

I've seen some of those vidoes on Sky - good stuff - will have to go through them to catch the ones I missed.

The reason I mentioned that book "Soldier Five: The Real Story of the Bravo Two Zero Mission " was that it goes into the training & selection for NZ SAS - good read if you get a chance!

Welcome to the forums by the way :)
