This is =]H[= TangFiend

I just wanted to say hello from =]H[= Hardcore Gamers. formerly =HOG=.

I have played on your server a few times and have had a really good time. Good admins and players. Also since you guys are mostly over in the uk your server is one of the more populated for us in our early afternoons. I will try to encourage some more of our early birds looking for game to connect to T&T.

I invite some of you lads to our =]H[= Chicago PR .809 server it's one of the lowest ping servers in the eastern USA so it should be viable for you guys.

IP 208.100.45.110 we temporarily have PB disabled also if it is givining people headaches.

Hope to see some of you guys on there don't be afraid to say whats up. I will try to be a presence on the forums here once in awhile to not be a stranger.

Hi there. Welcome to our website and thanks for posting!

Thanks for your kind words regarding our server - such feedback is always appreciated.

I'm sure some of us will stop by your server for a game. East coast US pings are rarely a problem for those in Western Europe.

I'm not sure about PB disabling though. I'd suggest you enable it, as it's against the Project Reality server licence to run a server without Punkbuster.

Disabling PB for a couple days was kind of an experiment and a bit of relief to some of the heads who have really been suffering from it. However since most public users to BF/PR connect to many servers in the in game browser they have punkbuster selected and therefore our server wasn't showing up. Our attendance kind of plummeted. Also the [DEV]s indicated they want us to keep it on. We have a very good rapport with them, certainly wouldn't want to change that.

Hopefully .85 will bring some cleaning up of the code. We are gonna reinstall our server software and see if we can get some better behavior out of PB.

I will try to stop by your server tomorrow afternoon (my time) and make myself known.

just a note if people are having problems with punkbusterB.exe when connecting to your server advise them to connect to a diff server for about 10% load then exit and connect backto yours. They wont have the punkbusterb.exe handshake failure then

try the connecting to other servers thing, then try connect to a server you play on, when it goes fubar, wipe PB entirely and reinstall, then reconnect to that server, itll say connection lost, reconnect and itll work then you can play on that server for as long as you wish

do the same thing if you change servers

hate it, hate it, hate it! - specially cause my computer is so terrible that it takes about 5 minutes to load a map- for not to speak about waiting for the 61/64 players on T&T - when it goes bad 2 times in a row it really brings the piss ! :D
