PR always crashes out to login page and says "error reading from server" after a while with "connection problem" Its only PR that looses connection. teamspeak stays up and all other web applications keep running.
Also tried playing bf2 yesterday and there is no connection problem or errors, WHATS WRONG??

Got a new FREE modem (inteno x5668) yesterday from my internet provider, can there be some settings or something thats wrong??

This is happening while you are playing, right?

And you've deleted your profile from My Documents?

And you've tried a new/different account?

And this is happening on all servers?... have you tried different servers? was it the T&T server?

Are you sure your connection is only dropping in PR?

(all sounds odd)

If your loosing connection to the account server I'd suggest doing the 'ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -t' command to the IP address of the BF account server - dunno what it is tho

207.38.11.34 - Think thats it

If I block that IP in my firewall I cannot login to my BF2 account

If you are loosing connection briefly and randomly, pinging a random address wont flag a problem.. or if it does you'll have been amazingly lucky.

It doesn't sound like pr to me.

I'd look at your router/modem or any other hardware between you and your connection.

I'd also ask my isp to test the connection and modem from their end.

yea, think its my router as well, just dunno what it is...

any suggestions, open ports or something?

get a new one, upgrade the firmware, borrow a friends to test, something like that.

What does your isp say?

If you can connect and then get disconnected.. its not an open/closed port problem.

my isp hasnt said anything? and what is it suppose to say?

If you feel that your router could be stopping your computer from connecting to the EA account servers you can find a full list of ports that may affect your connection here (http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=8961&p_created=1118858228&p_sid=GOMAV1ej&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX 3Jvd19jbnQ9NTIsNTImcF9wcm9kcz03LDEzODgmcF9jYXRzPTU 2NiZwX3B2PTIuMTM4OCZwX2N2PTEuNTY2JnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc 2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9ZXJyb3IgcmVhZGluZyBmcm9tIHNlcnZlcg* *&p_li=&p_topview=1).

Could also be something to do with the windows firewall if you have it enabled ensure that the PB services are enabled aswell as BF2.

If your running Vista try right-clicking the shortcut and hitting 'Run as Administrator'.
