Hi all,
I was playing on your server last night as i do most nights when im up to date with the patches. I love the servers players and ambience. Last night however, when waiting for a little bird helicopter to reappear/respawn, i decided to check out the new kits as it was my first night on .8 patch. Checking out the ironsights and firespeeds of new shotgun in the engineer kit in the air and toward a mountain across the base in the distance and found it to be powerful yet slow firing. In total i must have discharged nearly 7-8 maybe even 9 shots. Unfortunately to my suprise, but perhaps understandably, a mesage appeared stated Banning(not kicking) Yoda_31091 for excesive and pointless Shooting at main base! Im not upset with this decision but i was a little shocked to see the server i hold as my favourite, banning me for an offense that on COD 4 Server im admin for i would have kicked someone for or equivelant, banned for 1 game.
I hadnt even been warned that what i was doing was irratating or perhpas a bannable offense so i was very interested to discover if this punishment was actually meant or whether , as i know being a admin myself , someone was frustrated with other players doing similar things that i wasnt aware of, or if i was supposed to be kicked and something went wrong.
Anyway it would be great if you could give me more insight into my ban or perhaps clear up whether theres a problem here.
I did speak to [T&T]Madtommy about it and he said i should post a Thread here.
