Hey lads!

I have decided to throw you an app.
I have been freelance for a while now, and gotten to know the game pretty good all around. Can manage any kit, vehicle and position the game offers.

Experience: I consider my self a proper player, who knows how to work together i.e; raiding compounds tactically, urban tacs. Who knows how to listen and give orders when needed, and then im a nice guy on top of that!

Reason for the app: I have been playing for a while on two servers only really, T&T and TG. I like both of the servers, and staffs overall. What iam looking for though, is a mature group of men who like to put a little dedication in their gameplay, and not just make a squad with random name, for then to just run in 6 different directions with utter lack of communication. I find this game best, when played amoung likewisely minded. Who like to move together stick together and do it the way its supposed to be done. I played with a bunch of T&T guys last night, Sqlnd, Rico, Andycats, Matty and some others that i cant exactly remember the names of, no offense ;)

Anyway, we had a somewhat blast even though it was quite a bad round, i felt the teamplay, communication and dedication of the people from T&T. And atleast i enjoyd it.
I must admit im not a rich bastard, im educating for Paramedics and atm the school aint realy filling my pockets. But give me a month or two and i will happily contribute to an awesome sake as this.

Hi NK87, thanks for your interest in T&T.

I read with interest the bit about you playing as part of a team etc. The reason I find that interesting, is that more often than not I see you on the server, complete with sniper kit. Often somewhere on your own, and often in a locked squad (for which I do believe I kicked you last night).

Care to comment?

Auch, im sorry to hear that. Yeah, and when i rejoined the server i asked who it was, no reply, but at that time i didnt have the time to unlock the squad due to combat. Was on a bank with entire enemy squad+rally with their back to me, including their rally. Can say that i was busy, honestly i didnt even notice the text cause of action, i did realize it when i got kicked tho.

Its by far not the thing i do most in PR, thats for sure. But iam not joining a squad, where every member runs in 6 different directions, and even if i join the squad, half the ppl dont understand english, or doesnt have a mic, or sound on or likewise.

To boil it down, if theres a squad wanting to do the samething as me, i join them. But im not gonna join a squad who doesnt want to play teamplay. If i lock a squad single handedly, its because no squads are availible, or im not in the mood to boss around with randoms who would join. It's not only for my sake, but can say its for others aswell. Since i might not be suited to be a squad leader at the time.

Do not forget, it is project reality, and snipers often work in pairs or even alone sometimes., Shouldn't be looked at as a crime or a bad thing, but i must admit its too freakin bad you havent played in a squad with me, but let me tell you this though., I have asked you a few times where your squad have been locked for invite, usually didnt get a reply, and do you know why i want to join a PR community like T&T?

To get in proper groups with likewise players, but often im not given the chance, and takes time to build up, what can you say a respect based relationship. Where you kinda know: "Ok this guy got his shit together, i'd invite him anytime."

And bout the mature part, you misunderstood ;-)

In fact, when you rejoined the server, and asked your question you did receive a reply. Perhaps you missed it (it was in large green text near the top of the screen).

To address your other point, squads can be locked at the beginning of the round - whilst you're choosing your players, and also during the round when a player has dropped from the server. The rule applies to ALL players - including [T&T] members. All will confirm that I remind them frequently on TS if they forget.

We're something of a democracy here, and recruitment is generally subject to a vote. The community admins will discuss your application and come to a decision soon. In the meantime, and regardless of the outcome of your application, you are of course welcome on the server, and Teamspeak.

nk87 - locked one man sniper squads are a red flag in PR - it often indicates a lone wolf, hence the questions!

We take everyone on their merits, you've played with some of us, get on tonight and get to know the rest of us m8!

Applying to join us is us having a look at you as well as you having a look at us!!

I think nk87 should get on our TS channel and come and play in T&T squads for a while and then we can make an informed decision about his application - I think this is fair?

Maybe we should postpone a decision for a week or 2 until we have seen a bit more of him "in action" ?

Dear friends...

Iam sorry to say that its not my PSU that is causing the trouble, its my motherboard which have given up. And atm, as ive stated earlier, i cannot afford to replace it.
So im going to have to delay my enquiry.

You may keep the thread open, but my bank account wont allow me to spend in hardware before next month or so., None the less i will get it fixed, and you will know when that day comes, cause my appearence will yet again show on the best PR server community.

Im pretty sure we were on the same squad today on the Skirmish server...that means you have a new mobo?

Nah, mate, im on my backup PC atm ( 2.4ghz, 1gb ram, radeon 1600pro(512mb junk)) - Its a painfull event, none the less i cant live without this game for too long periods, so ive started playing again, some maps run ok tbh., But on Ramiel, downtown, its somewhat 2-10fps tops., Skirmish runs perfect tho, so might play alot more of that until i get my other rig up running again.

I have started playing again though, but atm im not really top materiel for T&T atm., since i cant play all maps, and on some maps the only thing i can do, is actually being a sniper or spotter - which they all hate me for! :p- Most of the new maps its either pilot, crewman or sniper really. Closecombat inf is a no-go usually.
