Makkone - Banned

Im was playing as a pilot in Qwai River, trying to take off from the base with chopper, when some random player came to the helipad and shot me from the pilot position. After i respawned back to the base, i saw this same guy trying to get into the chopper (Without pilot kit). At this moment i asked the admin to kick this team-killer, but i didint get reply from admin.

When i went back to near the chopper, and requested new pilot kit for myself, this guy gets into the chopper "to keep it busy" (So i couldn't take it). As i knew he didint have the pilot kit, i decided to wait so the guy gets automaticly killed because of trying to fly the chopper without the pilot kit.

After waiting for some time, the time exceeded and this guy gets killed. I Get into the chopper, warm-up it, and when im was almost ready to take off, the same guy spawns and starts to throw grenades to the chopper, just to kill me. Because of the grenades, i started to bleed inside the chopper. I Decided to shoot the guy with the chopper miniguns, so i could get out to stop the bleeding. But the next thing what i saw was the text "Banning Makkone".

I Know i did wrong when i killed this other guy to avoid getting killed by him, but imo you banned the wrong guy. Because over a week has passed, and im still banned, i decided to post this unban request before the 0.8 release.

So basically, you TK'd someone even though you weren't TK'd yourself. You basically killed a teammate just to protect your precious toy?

That's how it looks to me anyway.

The fact that the other guy was trying to TK you does not justify your actions. Had he succeeded, he would have been dealt with.

If we knew who the other guy was he would certainly be dealt with. But we didn't ban the wrong guy - you teamkilled (he didn't) and therefore you broke our rules.

We'd consider removing the ban, but there are two words missing from your post. I'll leave you to wonder what they might be.

Epoch, in the first line of his post it states he was TK'd initially before he took revenge, as no admin heard his request.

If I was in an asset with a 20 minute respawn time, I really would consider TKing anyone who is shooting at me.

Way to go in contradicting Commando-101's recollection of events Heskey. Any more useful input?

You might want to check the ban thread in the members forum before getting involved in things that are not your concern.

Best way to handle it when someone TKs you...

Revenge, Pre emptive or whatever TKing is never the best way to go. had this guy blown up the chopper then it would be annoying yes but would've given the admin more witnesses and evidence to smacktardery without dropping yourself in the shizzle (hint, two two words aren't Mahogany Nightstand ;))

I assume your in game name is BLOWME Makko? The ban was issued on the 23/08/08 by me for a tk in similar circumstances to what you describe though the other player did not have a tk registered against them in game or in the admin console .

If you are indeed this player then I recommended that a simple sorry & agreement to our rules would suffice to lift the ban - we have a thread where we record all bans.

We have very strict rules for tk's and revenge tk's - bans can and do occur without warning!
