Does anyone else have a problem staying logged into the mainsite?

When i try and login to the main site from the index page it tell sme wrong user or password, but If i do it from the forums its works.

When I leave and come back I am not logged into the frontpage, but i am logged in in the forums. The only way to log into the front page is go to the forums log out and then login agian in the forums.

At this point I am logged into the frontpage, but the cycle just keeps repeating itself. Any ideas and yes I have deleted my cookies.

I use IE (No jokes please :)).

I use Ccleaner to clean out my cookies and I have all the Tacteam.org cookies listed as safe so they aren't deleted

So I just set it as log me in automatically and I can still use Ccleaner to clear the cache of cookies

I go onto the homepage and it gives me the log in box and I see everything as a guest would then I'd I click main site or just reload the page it notices me as logged in and I can see members/admin forums and so forth

Oh and use Firefox, no excuses, its free :D

I use firefox here and just have FF remember the site user and pass and it always logs in.

Could be and IE issue perhaps.

Gotta be a cookies issue.

Dont know if this is it but I had a similar problem and it was caused by this :-

http://www.tacteam.org/xxxxx and http://tacteam.org/xxxxx are treated as 2 different domains and as such will create 2 different cookies.

I used to have a bookmark for the site index page that was "http://tacteam.org/(whatever index page is)" ...... I had logged into this page and asked to remember password and auto log me in - this worked fine every time I returned until I followed a link in the nav bar that instead of being relative to current page was (presumably) set as a static link to "http://www.tacteam.org/xxxxx" .... this changed domains and was calling for a cookie that didnt exist and as such meant I got logged out.

The way I fixed it was to log in to both, type in password and ask to remember therefore creating 2 cookies to cover both domains ..... If I ever change my password, one is still gonna be wrong - maybe you have this.

Hope that makes sense ... Does to me, but then I have just woken up.
