my pr name is de1tazer0, with tag is [RIP] de1tazer0
i got banned last night, for what i beleive was a misunderstanding by an admin. I imagine the ban log will say something like : I tked for the attack helo, I then solo'd the attack helo. Oh yeah, and also, I am wummuts.
If you could check the server logs, you will see that there was no team kill.
If i may present my version of the events, i was waiting for the attack helo while someone else was there, who told me "i better not try to solo the helo". I ignored him as i had no intention of soloing the helo.
The attack helo then spawned and i jumped in, while my squad member was also stood next to the helo as he had no pilot kit and had to wait about half a minute to be able to request another kit.
The other guy who was waiting for the helo then started trying to jump onto the helo, probably wanting me to team kill him so he could try and get me kicked. I had just about spun up so lifted off and flew onto the end of the runway and jumped out while i waited for my team mate to gun the attack helo.
I was outside of the helo, with a pilots kit, with a +ve score (ie no tk's and had only been in the server a few mins) before a new commander was appointed who started talking to an admin squad leader in another squad. I think this guy was from the same squad as the guy i had competed for the helo with, but wasnt the same guy. He annouced that i had tked for the helo, had then solo'ed it, and they thought i was wummuts.
I was in a squad of 2 pilots, had a +ve score and there had been no tk's involving me. i had typed no messages (certainly nothing abusive) but received a ban. I know it is hard to admin often with making decisions on what is actually happening, but i cant understand why i got banned for tking when i hadn't tked, banned for soloing when i hadnt left the base and wasnt even in the helo, banned for being wummuts when...well i am not even going to bother with that one.
Could someone please review this ban?
