Hello,

I was playing on the Tactical Gamer server at around 9:00 - 10:05. I was british and was just following my squad and killing people../caches. The map was Al Basrah Insurgencey

I got killed, so I spawned at the main base and got a jeep with my squad member. He was in the .50 cal and we were circling the mosque, and the main street.

We did that for like 5 minutes and then accidently crashed into a white technical. It spun around a corner at the same time we did.

I then was banned for 'base raping'

I would like you guys to know that I never went close to the Insurgent main base, and I was always around the city area. I didn't kill any one inside the mosque unless they were a direct threat (on a roof, or behind cover aiming at me). I never went inside the mosque, and I was only forced to kill someone inside it once, and a sniper ontop of a roof next to the mosque once.

Can I please get some real info about this? Is killing people inside the mosque area banable offense even if they are using it as a place to snipe/shoot from?

Please let me know, and also let me know how long this ban lasts for.

I tried to edit my post. Didn't work so I am posting this after seeing what one of the admins posted on the live chat.

EDIT: Terribly sorry to post this in the wrong area. I only realized there was a correct forum AFTER I posted this. Please move it, or let me re-post it some where else.

Also, I read that I was also banned for killing civilians. I want the admins to know that all my civilian kills were un-intentional. there was a group of insurgents using them as shields inside a house and I accidentally killed 3 within the first 10 minutes of the map, and then one just snuck up on me and scarred me a lot. After the first 3 I typed in chat 'Really annoying when a group of insurgents have 2-3 civilians sticking around them, sorry" or something to that effect.

Ok well half this doesnt make sense.

Firstly you were on the Tactics & Teamwork server.
Secondly You were banned for Spawn camping and when the insugent team is being killed on spawn with 3 against the british 5 it isnt that great a game.
Thirdly whats this about a squad member you were in that landrover alone i saw you alone in it shooting into mosque and i was killed by you at least 4 times on spawn at the mosque and earlier in the round at other places.
Also i was in the technical you crashed into and you were again alone.

Fourthly killing civies is part of the game but the huge amount you killed is just ridiculous i counted at least 8 and 3 of which was my squad mate on spawn.

I was not alone. I had a squad member in my gun seat, and I was driving. Please don't make things up. If you didn't see him then I suggest you check battle recorder.

I also NEVER killed any one on spawn inside the masjid. I am sorry for my mistake. I got confused between Tactical Gamer and T&T.

I never killed any one on spawn at all. And to say that is absolutely ridiculous. I never did it and I don't take lightly to things that I am accused of. I am not calling you a lier, rather miss-informed. You must be thinking about some one else.

Well when i killed you you was on your own in the land rover

your ban will remain for the remaining day please be more careful when shooting please make sure there not civilians and try not to spawn camp.

Ok I understand. When you killed me I was soloing the .50 cal after consulting my squad leader, but when I was driving around and crashed into the technical(by an accident) i had a gunner in my seat.

Thanks for letting me know, and I will make sure to check my fire before shooting, and to hold if I see a white shirt with no weapon, I've learned my lesson.

Some points to note:


Mosque is not a mainbase - you can attack it (spawn points are random enough so insurgents have a chance - or you spawn elsewhere)
Shooting civilians is not a bannable offence - the game has built in functionality to deal with offenders
This ban can be lifted immediately. Viglen (or another admin) - please oblige.
