Hello people of the T&T traverse =)
Having been asked by epoc and sadist if I’d be interested in joining your internet posse I’ve been nosing around the sever pretty much everyday for the past week (as some of you may have seen) and have ventured onto your community hideout and have been poking around to see how everything works and if your actually as nice a group of people as you seem or if your all actually evil sadistic goat herders. While the latter seems scarily close to the truth at times ;) I’ve come to love the sever and the easy banter that exists between the different members and (critically) the public players. And as such I’ve come to genuinely admire the T&T membership for there ability to make squads and involve others rather than just lock themselves away in there own squad like other groups do.
My names Will and I’m a 17 year old student from surrey who’s currently rushing around uni open days with an eye to doing War Studies at either Kent or Swansea uni. I’ve never been in a clan or community so joining T&T would be a first for me but despite my abject lack of social gaming I do claim to be a fairly decent fps player . PR wise I’ve been playing since 0.5 and but have greater memories of 0.6 and I’m an infantry man with a love of playing either squad leader or rifleman. However I do find myself playing as medic often because of the teamwork that will suddenly occur in a squad when someone’s around to reattach limbs. I’d like to think that I’d make a decent T&T member because I’m always using voice and enjoy a good banter with other squad members but I’m also a fair tactician and while I may not turn a game around I do try to ensure my squaddies are kept alive and kicking . I have also had my friends describe me a ‘noob nurse’ due to that fact that I have a habit of spending ages checking that new players in my squad ‘get‘ what is happening in a game.
Helping with the sever cost is also no problem for me, I’ll admit when I first learnt about it took a fair bit of convincing myself that I should pay for a game I can play for free. But in the end the fact that it means I’m part of something good and I get to see exactly what the money is going into won over and as such I have no reservations about helping out.
Apolgise for the essay (I talk to much :o)
