Operation Archer - does your client crash when playing?

Ok i posted this on the PR forums, but i've copied here as well.... if you can help me at all?

"Ok I'm trying to find the source/reason my PC crashing while playing Operation Archer.

My PC regularly crashes when playing on Archer, sometimes its 2 minutes into the map sometimes it's after 30 minutes. When i am in game i get no lag or performance issues. I crash on this map, and only this map.

I just had it crash twice at exactly the same place on the map, just as I came round a certain corner on a road, then blam black screen, (then PC needs to be re-booted). This happened while i was testing different graphics settings. Once on High/Medium (my normal settings), then with all on Medium. Both times i crashed at exactly the same location on the map, weird.

At present my rig just dies playing this map,

Is anyone having similar problems on Archer? Please let me know, thanks.

isnt archer the other basrah style insurgency map if so it sbugged to balls and causes the crash

i thought it only had server problems well i crashed to desktop on it once when on the street near the mosque but never heard of anyones comp dying on it before

No i have problems running this map... i dont think its map bugs.. my graphics card just dies trying to run it.

Could someone upload the map files for Archer... in case mine are fooked.. maybe upload to Masaq's space (http://www.mental-block.net/lockon/)

Only played it twice & it was the server - not my puter- that crashed both times!

i think my old card has reached it overstrained limits.... gonna upgrade to a agp x1950 512MB... my old card just dies on this map.. its about time i upgraded.

Gottta love self indulgent birthdays! (cant wait to max the settings out.... :p , i might look at Arma now)

if you tell me where the point on the map it is you go to get a crash - I will go and test it out if it helps - maybe no-one has ever been to the bit of the map that you crash on? its a pretty big map !

Thanks ward... but don't worry.. i'm pretty sure its my ailing gfx card.

I actually crashed on a main road.. so it will have been well travelled.. I thought i'd resolved the crashing by reducing the load on my gfx card... but i only delayed it.

New card arriving tomorrow. I might even enable AA!
