Okay guys, for simplicity's sake I've uploaded all the mods I use together without any conflicts or such to one location, along with Modman 6.3.

Saves people having to register for Lockonfiles.com etc.

People are welcome to add to it using the FTP details posted elsewhere in this site, but please only place mods that work fine with the others listed :)


NOTE: If you are installing the Structures and Vehicles LOD mods together, you MUST INSTALL THE STRUCTURES MOD FIRST.

Hell, I don't know jack squat about modman and really new to lockon and the files seem to work fine.

Everything definetly looks much nicer. Does that scenery mod add more trees or something is definetly more forest-like or something.

Anyway ... thanks for the files.

The tree mod makes them render further out and stops them suddenly popping up in front of you. It also makes them solid objects, which means they show up on TV/IR imaging better.

There are a couple of graphical mods that improve the textures of the ground etc; I'm going to have a play with a few and see which ones work the best, then pop one into the folder.

Where do I extract the files to? (There's various individual file formats)

And do I need to download any patches from LockOn 1.0 (base install) before doing anything else?

You don't extract them Heskey. You import the zip/rar into Modman and it extracts them itself, for it is clever.

Do have Flaming Cliffs installed?.. do this first then get the patch 1.12b

Depending on which version of FC you got.. but i used LO_Flaming_Cliffs_Patch_1.12b_EngWEB.exe from here http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos=135&scr=products&lang=en

I just bought regular Lomac from an independant amazon seller. I'm aquiring Flaming Cliffs now, and then I'll download the patch and sort out those add ons.

I won't play til my Logi 3D joystick arrives in a few days though; just so that I don't confuse myself ;)
