Lockon Night

Was speaking with Masaq yesterday, and he mentioned he'd struggle with Thursday nights for Lockon as he has First Aid training (then pub!).

How about we move Lockon to Friday nights, and have PR on Thursdays?

Sounds good with me. I can just about managed 1 night gaming at present.. Friday sounds a good one.

Hmm, think my vote would have to go with the current arrangements.

I can regularly play all night on a Friday which tbh I like to spend on PR - Basicallly prime time PR!

If we start using prime time nights for other games then we are shifting T&T's focus - not necessarily bad per se but not a change I think I'd like.

Difficult to satisfy everyone - are any other nights suitable?

Well, my only regular weeknight commitment is a Thursday. Mondays is sometimes a pub night, as is Wednesday. But basically, any night other than a Thursday is better for me lol :)

Sunday's not bad for me, either.

Will be around tonight for some flight (the training session is Fractures, and it's being taught by a cocky little bastard of a med student who's not seen a broken leg on duty yet. Grr.) but it's probably the last one I can make on a Thursday, realisitically.

Multiplay have set up a server for me to test for Lockon. However, they're struggling to get it working so they've given it to me to see what I can do. Fingers crossed we'll be to get it sorted.

Also, Epoch - just check you're using the same release of the skinpack as me and Tommy were, will ya? You were driving around in a plain cammo last week rather than in yours, at our end.

Ahhh!

Well, you don't, technically. The server host is the only one that needs to download the mission files.

However if you want to view the custom-made skins that some of us are using:

First, download Modman.

Run the Modman installer.
Load up Modman, and tell it you're using "Flaming Cliffs". Now, close it.

Then, download the skinpack:
http://www.mental-block.net/lockon/ttskinpack.zip

And place it (NOT extract it) in the folder:

C:\Modman\addons_fc\

Now, load up ModMan again.

Select "Install Mod"
You should have the TT Skinpack available. Select it, and press INSTALL. It'll give you a few messages about skins being different sizes, just hit OK.

The little light next to the Mod should turn green.

Load up Lomac and you should have some new skins available for the F-15 and the A-10. They'll have the same name as the old ones (Desert1, 37684th Penguin Squadron from RAF MyHouse, etc) but when you select them, they should look sexy T&Tish.

All sounds good... the next couple of Sundays arent good for me.. but that not a problem. It should be better soon enough.

I'll be on tonight :D I just posted a new map for us to try... added all the Russian planes if anyone fancies a blast in them.

Today is Saturday, :p man i wish i didn't know what day it was! :D

I assume it will be tomorrow and on from there.. but i wont be around this Sunday.

Only days i can't make are Tuesday and Wednesdays until about 9pm and then on Weds i won't be on till gone 10.

Sundays are good for me, as from Friday next week, the 15th i won't be on until Monday night (finally being let out for a dirty weekend woot - read: hammock camping, gutting and eating pigeons, rabbits, pheasent, squirrel and any other breed of mammal that happens by :D)

Hey guys, when you get ready to play, holler! I usually use HyperLobby to play. If I host, CapnGimp is in the name and usually A-10 missions with a few fighters in there. Let me know the server name/info and I'll join you. Been trying to get this freetrack headset going today...
I have also got the maps you guys posted in these forums onboard tho I haven't flew them yet.
