Hi all,
I was recently banned from your server. I do enjoy playing there and would like to know why I was banned. The thing I'd done wrong the whole day was pop a teammate with the m203, however, this was because my whole squad had opened up on him for nearly killing half of them with his drunken heli flying, and I was just the one who killed him. I don't see how one intentional tk is grounds for a permanent ban, especially since your server rules clearly state that your server is not a pilot training server

I would very much like to be unbanned :/

The pilot in question, doombringer, is a very good pilot.

Sure, your squad opened up on him, but your name came up for a TK, and so you, and your SL Stealth-op (or whatever) were banned.

* Stealth was banned for lack of respect, uncortious behaviour etc.

If you didn't want to be killed by the chopper, move your arse straight away.

If so, he was stealing choppers and generally acting like a chav with an ASBO on Quai about 2 hours ago.

I think Doom witnessed it aswell, we were in a Helo Transport squad with someone called Welsh-kid IIRC.

Yep, total ASBO & smaktardedness behaviour.

We had an UNLOCKED Lil' bird squad up. Welshboy, Katash & another guy (cant remember names >.<) who each started the round in the LB's

One got shot down, waited back at base for the next chopper, it spawns, and Stealth runs straight for it. We all asked for it to be handed to the dedicated squad, and for him to join that squad and wait inline. All we received was general 8 yr old BF2 talk etc.

IMO ban remains FOR BOTH (and if anyone can get names of US charlie squad from that round, ban 'em too)

I was the in game admin that banned you for exactly the reasons you describe - we take a very dim view of intentional tk's.

Instead of policing our server with your tk's - u could have at least tried asking for an admin!

It is our general policy to ban intentional team kills however these decisions are reviewed in a fair manner as Epoch has indicated.

It is noted that you wish the ban to be lifted - this would obviously be considered if you state your intention to abide by our rules.

Am I very sorry for my actions, and would like to pledge to you all that this will never happen again. Also note, that if you do not unban me it will severely hinder my ability to play PR and I am usually in the top 10 overall of most rounds :'( I can see you take intentional tks very seriously, however, in my defense, this was a descision made in the spur of a moment and not a delibrate premeditated attempt to ruin doombringer's day.

In my defense, people have been known to act out of turn in the past and cite their reputation (based on whatever grounds; clan, skill, IRL location) as grounds for having the slate wiped clean.

I have no reputation :/ and by no means should the slate be wiped clean. I would just like this to be a warning given that: I was under the impression that they were with a noob pilot (members of my squad were saying things such as I'm scared etc, and then chopper crashes as he takes off) and that there were 5 other people shooting down at him. All of this was precipated by stealth-op, probably due mostly to the fact that he was "nagged" (best word I can think of that fits) about flying the LB outside of the LB squad.

Basically, he used his squad as a tool for revenge. Not particularly nice seeing as how he wanted to setup a rally and I was the only squaddie near him and then DB drops off rest of his squad.
